It’s been another busy few weeks for Neil’s Electrical Services, after finishing off the refit of the new Josie’s Cafe in Winchester (we cannot recommend their coffee and sarnies enough!). We have been to a Portsmouth restaurant to ensure their commercial kitchen equipment was working correctly, fixed an electrical glitch in some tools at a manufacturing company and helped the owner of a hotel with a pesky flickering outside light.
So what does an emergency electrician do after all that, when he needs to relax? Book a day at the local county cricket ground of course! Warm sunshine, the occasional pint and the soothing sound of willow on leather…perfect. However this is of course the height of the English summer, so when Neil booked his tickets for the Ageas Bowl to watch Hampshire in action what do you think happened? Poor Neil, the heavens opened, it rained all day long and play was cancelled. There is no rest for the wicked, they say.
Neil has also been out and about helping residents of Hampshire with their electrical emergencies – one family found the inside of their home as damp as the the rainy street outside when their water tank burst. They needed Neil’s help urgently to isolate the electrics in case any water got into the circuits in the ceiling and walls. Luckily Neil is on hand 24/7 to help people in Southampton, Fareham, Portsmouth, Winchester and beyond stay safe, warm and well-lit in their homes.
